Bulk Import Smartphone Users with CSV File

If you are managing a large number of smartphone users and need to import them in bulk, you can do this by using a CSV file. This guide will walk you through the steps to bulk import smartphone users into your system.

Preparing the CSV File

To create a CSV, you can enter data in Excel or any spreadsheets similar software, organize it with headers in columns, and then select Save As with the .csv format. This will ensure compatibility with other software.

To ensure a successful import, your CSV file must have the following columns:

• identifier: This field represents the email address of the smartphone user. Ensure that the email addresses are valid.
• title: A label or name that helps you identify the user within the system. It can be customized to match your organization's naming conventions.
• comment (optional): Additional context or notes about the smartphone in the locking system.

Important: Make sure the CSV file uses a semicolon (;) as the delimiter.

Steps to Bulk Import Smartphone Users

1. Navigate to the Smartphone Users: In your Locking System after login, here you can find the option BULK IMPORT.

2. Upload the CSV File:

   • Choose your file in the file by tapping on Choose File.
   • Choose the CSV file you have prepared and upload it.

3. Completion:

   • Once the import process is complete, you will receive a confirmation. The smartphone users should now appear in your user list with the corresponding titles.

Troubleshooting

• Invalid Email Format: Ensure that the email addresses in the identifier field are formatted correctly.
• File Format Issues: Double-check that your CSV file uses semicolons (;) as delimiters and that there are no extra spaces or invalid characters in the file.
